Don't Have Time For This Obsession

I SO don't have time for this obsession.  I don't have room in my head for these thoughts.  I don't have the desire in my heart for this consumption.  Ugh.

I read New Moon in 2 days and Eclipse in 2 days.  Need to drop a few pounds?  Read these books- because I guarantee you if faced with the choice to read or eat, you will choose to read.  There is only one book left and I cannot tell you how happy I am that this is about to be over.  Think I'm being dramatic?  Try mothering three children when all you can think about is Edward, Jacob and Bella.  I have not had one single night that I haven't dreamed about them.  The lady checking me out as I purchased the second book said, "See you in a few days for the other books!" The lady checking me out as I purchased the last book said she finished them 2 months ago and she still hasn't stopped thinking about them.  I refuse.  I will return to my normal state as soon as this book is over.

Here are a few of the underlying themes that I love:
  • loving someone so much that you have to go against your nature to love them the way they need to be loved (don't we all have to do that?)
  • struggling between someone you're in love with and someone you can't live without
  • making choices between the pain you will cause others or the pain you will experience yourself
I honestly don't know if I recommend these books to anyone who must carry on a normal life.  At least pick a time when you have nothing else going on because it is very hard to live in Forks and in your real life at the same time.

Those are my thoughts to a tee! I am still thinking about them and have been finished with the books for almost a month! I knew you were addicted when I saw that your blogging had become sparse. HA! You are going to LOVE the last book. :)
