I got vomited on and cleaned up vomit 6 different times. Fun.
It was like a bad scene from a movie. Amelia was on her third time, by now we were ready for it and had a large bowl at her side. Lane, who hadn't had the slightest complaint, walked over and started throwing up all over me and everything else. I didn't know where to put the bowl. I put it under Lane and Amelia's vomit went everywhere. I put it under Amelia and Lane's vomit went everywhere. It was insane. Had I had one split second to think, I would definitely have chosen the bowl to follow Lane because his vomit was bright red Kool-Aid color. As we speak, Jason is up at Publix renting a carpet steamer. I've never seen such a shade of red come out of someone. It makes a lovely stain on the carpet.
They are both in bed now and I am hopeful this is over. The smell is impossible to get rid of and it alone could bring a person to hurl. Gross.

Gross is right! AHHHH! I am sorry you had to deal with that. I am also sorry you never got to your sewing projects! The joys of motherhood.
2 word...Stanley Steemer. Heck...Rainbow Carpet. They don't cost much mmore than a rent your own deal and seriously. Who wants to deal with cleaning carpet when you have been catching barf all day? Hope everybody is better soon. We have all tile in our house now. I buy rugs on sale so I can just pitch them after they get nasty. Lily's is getting close to a departure.
