What's in a Monogram?

I don't know what it is about a monogram, but I have this obsession with seeing my kids names sewn into fabric. Maybe it is just that the name itself is such a precious reflection of my child. A name that we spent many months choosing, just for them. I know it's crazy, but you take an ordinary shirt, put my child's initials on it, and suddenly it becomes a cherished possession. There have been many a bags of baby clothes, passed on to friends or goodwill, but every piece of clothing that has ever had their name on it, is tucked safely in a drawer to be kept forever.


Owen received his first birthday gift last week. I'm sure you will be seeing much more of it as I'm sure he will have his picture made in this outfit. Notice that precious monogram on his chest, OTD.
