Today I walked in the door from work to squealing and screaming coming my way.
"Mom, it's so citing! Lane found his dog-dog"
Lane was ear to ear with a grin telling me in his own language with all the enthusiasm in the world that his dog-dog had been found.
I'm not sure who was more excited, them or me. I have been so sad this last week that he's been lost that I would not one day be able to tuck that raggedy dog in a keepsake drawer so that years later I could pull him out again and remember Lane's affection for that nasty dog.
I really had torn the house apart looking for it. The sitter said she guessed the painters found it when they moved furniture around.
Hooray for dog-dog's return!

I'm SO glad you found him. Ever since you told me he was lost I've been worried he wouldn't show up.
One day you're gonna look at dog-dog and remember how sweet and wonderful your little ones were.
That'll come in handy during their teen years :)
Glad Dog-dog found his way home. I know it would be H to pay if we lost track of Bucky dog...or Lily's "Snuggy" - a pinkish greyish blanket of nasty.
