Yesterday I was responsible for ankles up - cute green Gymboree top with matching bow and beiger corduroy shorts. Lily was ankles down - aqua socks with black glitter shoes. festive - but I was running late so whatever.
Amelia looks adorable.
My mama let us pick out our clothes from a very early age (she was a kindergarten teacher and believed this was good for fostering independence). Which is why A LOT of my five-year-old pictures feature me in a diamond-patterned terry-cloth pink & purple shirt. Aigh... but I did grow up with a healthy sense of independence (if not much fashion sense...).
