How ironic is this? When my children were infants, they were awesome sleepers. I put them on this schedule that quickly trained them to sleep 10-12 hours at night. People everywhere we went were amazed. "Your baby will just go to sleep anywhere in that pack and play?" or "You put your baby down at 6:30 for the night?". I did this for the sole long term purpose of creating good sleeping habits. You know, able to put yourself to sleep, no sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed, and so on. So, now that my daughter is FOUR, Jason and I rarely get an uninterrupted nights sleep. If it's not a little green monster dream or a coughing fit, it is the occasional wet bed accident. Jason is the compassionate one in the middle of the night. "Honey, she is really scared, we can't get mad at her!" Oh really? My nine month old goes down at 6:30 without so much as a peep until 6:30 this morning. But, my four year old was up at least three times last night. What part of 'there is no such thing as monsters' doesn't she get? Truly, I'm only this annoyed in the middle of the night. Come morning, compassion comes over me and I do feel bad she is having bad dreams. How could anyone possibly stay annoyed with her when she wakes up with the sweetest smile and "Good Morning, Mommy! Wanna go get some coffee?". Why, yes I do!
Already looking forward to my nap this afternoon.....

Excuse me? You mean my niece isn't perfect?
Oh, I must be on the wrong blog. I was looking to the Tomlinson family.
Their kids are perfect . . .
I meant for the Tomlinson family, not to.
I'm such a dork.
