Yesterday, we went through the drive through to get the kids something fast to eat before we continued on with our errands. I passed back Amelia her chicken nuggets. There was no reply so I prodded her for the thank-you I expected.
"Amelia, are you forgetting something?"
"How about a Sprite."
Apparently she thought we were the ones that forgot something.
Jason and I did all we could to hold back our laughter as I reminded myself that appreciation isn't quickly taught to a child.
Funny girl.

HA! One time Eli was asking for a popsicle and I was waiting for "please". I said "What do you say?" Blank stare. "Starts with puh-puh" He looks at me and opens his eyes really wide and says "Puh-puh POPSICLE!" annunciating every syllable like he is talking to a deaf old woman. My mom was there and I thought we were going to die. Lily finally goes "Please Eli. Say please"
Yay! I am so excited that you won. It will make you want to check your blog more often just to see how pretty it is! :)
Really funny.
Also, what did you win?
