Reasons to Celebrate

Celebrating the Big and Little Things As of Late:

  • Amelia has been well for almost a month straight. No coughing. No medicine. No inhalers. No nebulizers.

  • Jason's name was turned in today as being management ready. Way to go babe!

  • I had my thousandth page hit on my blog today.

  • Amelia's cast if off. She can bathe and shower again with ease.

  • Our friends Cliff and Stacie are closing on their house this Thursday-a house in OUR neighborhood. Fun for us.

  • The speech therapist does not think Lane has Apraxia. She thinks he just has severe phonological processing. This is actually good because it is easier to correct.

  • Jason is presently at a work dinner at Ruth Chris where he gets 12% of the total bill in a gift card for personal use. This would mean that I will soon get to eat at that restaurant for the first time in my life.

  • My niece is being recruited to play volleyball for Queens college in Charlotte, NC--with a full ride scholarship. She is crazy smart and athletically gifted, too. I got to attend one of her matches this past weekend. I am so proud of her.

  • I am really enjoying my bible study, Daniel. I am learning so much about bible stories I haven't thought much of since I was a child. They are quite amazing to re-learn as an adult.

  • I joined the ghetto version of the YMCA. The Y in our small town is just forming and at this time basically consists of aerobics in a small, hot, youth building at an area church. That's O.K for me, though, since aerobics is all I'm really interested in and I can't afford the real Y anyway. My legs are ridiculously sore from one day of Zumba.

Here are a few recent pictures. Just because. The one with all the babies are my friend Meg's triplets. What fun for Owen to grow up with these boys that are just 10 days younger than him. Just add one more and we have a soccer team!
